Look what I’ve got here – a spinning wheel!
I’ve been interested in starting weaving and spinning recently and just happened to find that we had this spinning wheel in our shed. How lucky I am! :)

that’s a beautiful spinning wheel!
It still needs a lot of cleaning and re-tuning but yes, it’s a beautiful wheel! :)
I saw your blog site and LOVED it so much that I’ve just started subscribing the post feed! :) Your woven textiles are gorgeous!!!
Hi Hitomi,
thank you for visiting my blog!
I just love your beautiful patterns, and the crispness of your photos!
Ps. I wished my dad had picked something like this from the street too!
It’s interesting that my reason to subscribe your blog posts is the same as yours! :)
How amazing, Hitomi, that you found it in the shed! I wonder what the history is? Who used it before you? Good luck with your spinning. Lynn
It was actually just picked up by my father in the street and he’d kept it in the shed for several years! I need a good guidance to work with it, though :)
wow! that was in your shed?! it looks like it was meant to be! :) can’t wait to see what you do with it!
I’ve been in love with this idea of “yarn” work recently and I’m already excited about what to create! :)
I secehard a bunch of sites and this was the best.
I’m impressed. You’ve really raised the bar with that.
